Office of Film
Bridgeport has become a very happening place for the film
industry. The State of Connecticut recently enacted legislation
providing tax credits for film and television projects. These
benefits, combined with Bridgeport’s exciting
Arts and
Entertainment benefits, wealth of historical urban cityscapes,
parks, and coastline have lured national film companies to the
city in recent months.
In
response to this need, the city has established the Office of
Film, to provide one-stop shopping for production companies and
to facilitate production. On these pages you will find links to
information concerning tax credits and other incentives,
permitting information and forms,
insurance requirements,

background
information on Bridgeport and
other data.
BERC works closely with the city's office of film. BERC
helps pre-production crews with site location, available
incentives, and permits. BERC is available to answer all of your
